Pavement-:Westing ( by Musket and Sextant)
All this nostalgia is funny because I decided to give a band called Pavement a try these last few days. I had Slanted and Enchanted on tape in high school ( I'm old) and enjoyed it enough. not enough to delve farther, but enjoyed it. there was some Pavement talk on here so I finally got around to giveing a listen. this is all their early singles and it is pretty enjoyable. noisey, kind of weird, abrasive, and with a few actual tunes. like a less punk rock Early Sebadoh. I have a feeling I would find the more indie rock later albums annoying, but who knows
