is this going up on the Total Punk site today?

sicboy I was a little late getting it up this morning. Had to make breakfast for the kid first. With all this egg talk the obvious choice was an omelette

I would like a list of all the phrases that begin with "I am" -- this album has a lyric sheet, right?

He’s a coma, a bed bug, a candyman, the king of frostbite.
He plays many roles and yes there is a lyric sheet

@Randall With the demise of Richie Ramones wonderful Strangeworld Records here in Melbourne, any idea who will be stocking Total Punk releases here in Oz?

Richie Strangeworld is taking a break. I think he is going 100% online, It's a big downer, one of the best record store I have ever shopped at. Got turned onto some killer music by Melbourne's grumpiest record store guy.
Anyway just ordered Heavy Mother and Pyrex lps from Repressed, so all is good with the world.

Actually, the world is pretty fucked at the moment.

“This just in: Murderous cavemen have been reported to be knuckle-dragging their way through Times Square, frisbee-ing records at unsuspecting tourists. Oh wait, nevermind—that’s just your friendly neighborhood Pyrex, slinging visceral punk songs. This band is unrelenting, delivering hit after hit. Not adhering to any unwritten punk rules, Pyrex paves their own path littered with broken beer bottles and cigarette butts. With Body, Pyrex dropped eight stomp-y, aggressive songs that toe the line between angular post-punk and modern hardcore, which can only be described as psycho music. The group are on their own journey, and continue to get recognition for their individualized approach. Keep it up, lads. Body is an absolute church burner. Either you’re inside praying in the burning church, or you’re outside with Pyrex lighting a cigar with the flames.“

16 minutes and change of tri-boro pressure by these NYC mutants, getting more opaque as the years roll on. Relatively well-rendered in sound by any yardstick of something so filthy, it’s a fuckin’ stomper – D-beat bulldozers and urban fatberg scum spills (“protein is all I eat” … I hope these guys don’t still have roommates), vaguely spidery death rock (“Vertebrae”), and a longer trial of the two in closer “Reflex,” nearly tipping the scales, twice as long as anything that came before. How are they not out of breath? How are YOU not?- heathen disco

                Down to about 30 copies

“ Killer release following a series of likewise killer releases from this prolific group. Body creates an atmosphere of dread and paranoia in a tight eight-song parcel. Overdriven vocals suck the listener into an unsettling void and taunt with an unrivaled perversity of damaging tunes. Creeping elements of post-punk claw through the wreckage, but it’s all too snotty and punk-forward to fit too neatly into that box. Noisy, effects-laden instruments are in service of the overall sound, propping it up rather than masking deficiencies. Energetic one-two beats burst out of motorik grooves, and riffs twist in unusual ways. SCHEDULE 1 and NAG are stomping on similar terrain, but PYREX wields a more wrathful blade. They’re a great live band to boot. Exceptional.”- MRNR

This is definitely the best album of the first five months of the year. Does anything else even come close? Will anything come out in the next ten days that could top it? Best.
