sicboy I seem to recall...not sure, maybe around The Carp LP....that you were going to stop doing preorders? Are you finding a benefit to them? hype, etc?

We didn't do any preorders or singles ahead of the RETAIL SIMPS LP. I knew they would be game for the idea and it was a nice break from "the way you are supposed to do things." Im trying to change it up a bit and if I do preorders do them for a shorter period of time. I always hated preorders so didn't do them for most of the Total Punk run till covid hit and turn around times were turning to 11-13 months. At that point it became a necessity. I miss the day when I just used to have records come out the day I was done stamping and stuffing.

    @Randall is there any chance this and the newly announced Dumbells would ship at the same time? In other words, should I wait for Pyrex to go up?

      sicboy hopefully so. I'm picking up The Dumbells covers tomorrow and already have the records. The covers for Pyrex are at the plant and they are ready to press but the labels somehow got shipped to a Walgreens in Deer Pointe, MI. The printers told me they would fix it but are now dodging my emails. I'm gonna apply some more pressure today and hopefully they will reprint and ship off to the pressing plant before the end of the week.

                              @Randall With the demise of Richie Ramones wonderful Strangeworld Records here in Melbourne, any idea who will be stocking Total Punk releases here in Oz?

                                Richie Strangeworld is taking a break. I think he is going 100% online, It's a big downer, one of the best record store I have ever shopped at. Got turned onto some killer music by Melbourne's grumpiest record store guy.
                                Anyway just ordered Heavy Mother and Pyrex lps from Repressed, so all is good with the world.

                                Actually, the world is pretty fucked at the moment.
