Randall Netflix broadcast of Giants vs. Yankees opener was a complete debacle in every way. Basically a giant commercial with atrocious green screen ads behind home plate, annoying commentary (Bert Kreischer ugh), announcers flubbing players' names and kissing Aaron Judge's ass (haha he went 0-5 though) and just overall corny and unnecessary spectacle. Oh yeah, and Logan Webb got absolutely shelled and gave up 5 runs in the second inning (it's been suggested maybe he was tipping pitches?). Defense was sloppy, and there was zero life in our bats resulting in a shutout loss. Familiar problems for the Giants in recent years unfortunately. Shitty way to start the season, but it's just one game and I'm cautiously optimistic about new skipper Tony Vitello and what he brings to the table. But yeah, that opener was just all around bad.
