I picked up this book パンクス 青の時代 recently at Disk Shop Misery in Hiroshima; I'd seen it advertised recently. I think there was an art show linked to its release, and this documentary as well:
I can't read Japanese very well, but the photos and posters are really cool to see. And yeah like you said, there is so much info on these early punk scenes in Japan in books but little in documentary form, let alone in English. Here's hoping some day a bit more gets translated.
