That song rules, that band rules. They distilled so much of what was good about drum machine bedroom weirdo punk, and the songwriting is tip-top gluehead burnout. I bought two copies immediately upon its release and both are sitting in my bunker right now.

2 Classics and one new today

Cosmic Psychos - Down On The Farm - a friend has me on a Cosmic Psychos jag. Still not really into the speech noise jam, but the rest is amazing. Custom Credit and Down on the Farm are absolute classics.

Cheater Slicks - Walk Into The Sea - Just ordered the remaster, So refamiliarizing to try and tell differences. Side 2 of this is absolute peak Cheater Slicks.

Civic - Chrome Dipped - not bad, but not really into it. Might give it a few more listens. Just too produced and (i hate to say it) tame.

Negative Freedom released about five years ago is probably my favorite Melchior. It might be his funniest, and sounds like Alex Chilton at his most creative.

Been loving that GI Jinx record. Any chance they're playing Gonerfest?? I might man up and buy a ticket if so.

dr_chile I’ll have to go back and check this one out. Was a big Dan fan but at a certain point his output was too much to keep up with and I checked out.

My other favorite DM album. A double LP is hard to successfully pull off but it seems to be the format where he is at his best. It’s crazy Troubleman refused to release this.

Randall peep it, brother. I feel similar about his output but this one stands out for me. Lots of cool blues riffs ran through crazy effects pedals but maintains a very simple song structure. It's also pretty lean considering a lot of his records are double albums.

Lords of the Manor is another killer Dan record. I also really like the acoustic one he did with PG 6 ( or whatever) a few years ago

Way before Syphilitic Vaginas, there was METAL SKULL!

Metal Skull disbanded when their singer Nanuek The Lengflo(real name; Michihiko Kojima), who apparently was a quite disturbed man, committed suicide on December 24th, 2005(R.I.P.) at the age of 27. Nanuek had ritually listened to the "Detestation" LP by G.I.S.M. every day as that's the only album he has owned -like, 20 copies of it!- and literary worshipped.

They did a split with G.A.T.E.S., who crank out some nice hyped-up Tank/Motorhead punky metal - for fans of Midnight (like me I guess)

For those moments when Aztec Camerea is just too balls-to-the-wall. This is some real "kittens and a saucer of milk" shit. Too impatient to deal with this type of shit beyond 3 songs.

100% Homosexual Killed By Disco Destruction. Dark Entries really knows how to pull off a comp, this being no exception.
