All of the State Champion records. I got into Ryan Davis' music after Dancing on Edge was released over a year ago and have been obsessed with his output, particularly his work in State Champion but also Equipment Pointed Ankh. Incredible artist. Can't believe he isn't as recognized as he should be but so it goes...

V/A - Bouquet Of Steel
UK regional comp fixation continues, this time Sheffield. Varied and with just a tad of bullshit, but worthwhile. Disease and Repulsive Alien are both sick. Comes with gigantic, informative booklet, surveying entire scene (far beyond the bands featured). Cheap/Easy/Etc., very much what I'm looking to hear/see/scarf up with these.
