11th hour stubble the real questions is how was the mosh pit for the Simps set?
WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO AND WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY ABOUT IT?
that all depends on whether 1 guy with his back turned to the stage and his fingers in his ears constitutes a mosh pit
11th hour stubble haha. I like to think his fingers were in his ears because he loved it so much he never wanted the sounds to escape his head
Just scored a copy of this insane Swiss fake punk single. Sounds like a mix of X-Ray Spex and Teddy & The Fratgirls/Sheer Smegma.
Been listening to a bunch of Mummies 7"s. Me and my dog were dancing around to them this afternoon.
Got postcards 4 & 5 yesterday and had my first listens and they’re maybe not up to par with the first 3…. Getting a lil too mainstream new wave for my liking with a couple tracks sounding like wannabe Huey Lewis. I love Huey Lewis but this was BAD! Also the AI art on the last two covers is worse than ever haha
I'm far from an audiophile type, but I picked up these two recent Rhino Reserve titles, which I guess are intended to be priced appropriately for retail vs a $70 audiophile LP with fancy packaging. Anyway, they sound really good and are cool.

The first time I saw them was in Seattle in 2010 and it was a top ten all time show. Pretty sure it was the last show of a long tour. Then saw them a couple years later at SXSW for a one off show and it was a bit of a train wreck. Would love to see them again.
11th hour stubble did he have a finger up his butthole too
one of the greatest songs in american rock and roll
The Touch The Feel da tooth! and nothing but the tooth!
I've been listening to a TON of Ultimo Resorte and Poison Girls! I tried listening to the new Shrapnel and Sharp Pins and Straw Man Army......nothing.

New SPLIT SYSTEM single has that repetitive, hypnotic quality of a simple punk riff being the main attraction, kinda like « Tania » by Sex Vid, but played by Hank Wood & the Hammerheads and with added guitar leads. (It’s great.)
Also woke up playing this cavemen/ cavewomen hc punk demo and thought of a faster State Children.
Been listening to Only The Stones Remains by The Soft Boys about 2736429 times in a row. Such a great song.
Really enjoying this album from Jonathan Henley (biased because we share a last name). Kind of reminds me of the sideways approach to Americana that Workers Comp takes, although maybe a bit less smart-alecky. Really propulsive and great hooks. Love the recording, too.
