There are a lot of great songs that rip off Ça Plane Pour Moi. The best one was made by the Belgian studio act Les Marylenes. I always play it when I'm DJing.

In the early days of Garbage in My Heart, I devoted a couple of episodes to fake punk. I hate how I sound back then, but the playlists are still pretty solid. First set of both shows is new (at the time) stuff, then I cover fake punk, fake fake punk, and dum dum punk:

Unsure if they actually qualify as "fake punk," but growing up in the San Fernando Valley, Surf Punks LPs were almost always available for purchase in the used bin.
