Breakfast is my least favorite meal of the day but my go to is egg sandwiches and omelettes. When I go out for breakfast it’s m generally going Benedict or hash.
What y’all chomping on in the early hours?
What you throwing in them omelettes?
Also with eggs getting so expensive what’s some egg free breakfasts you enjoy?

I love breakfast. If I’m cooking at home I’ll generally do chilaquiles or a cottage cheese omelette (friend from Minneapolis introduced me to that).

If I go out for breakfast I’ll typically do two eggs, hash browns, biscuits and chicken fried steak. Maybe even grits. I don’t plan to do much after that kind of a meal though.

A machaca breakfast burrito is always a good one, too.

As a boring gymrat, it's almost always porridge (oatmeal over there) with banana and protein powder and either blueberries and honey or choc chips and raspberries.

Scrambled eggs on toast being the back-up option.

I'm not much of a morning person and I'm not really an egg fan. There's a local breakfast and lunch diner that I go to sometimes that does a biscuits and gravy with fried chicken and cheese on top. That's my go to. I also love a good chicken fried steak. Most days though, my breakfast is just coffee and maybe a piece fo fruit.

I usually sleep days. I shouldn't be awake right now but people are fixing something in my apartment right now.
Bird eggs are gross. Temporal "breakfast time" or seasonal foods such as pumpkin spice or egg nog are going away, in 2025 I am surviving on paste like Robocop.

almost every day its black coffee, two pancakes, strawberries or pineapple slices, and scrambled eggs with spinach, peppers, cucumbers dipped in sriracha sauce.

Yeah, my goal with breakfast is just to get it over with as quickly as possible. So, I go yogurt and blueberries (or so type of preserves) plus a banana with peanut butter. If I’m running that day, I’ll do a bigger bowl of cereal plus a banana and peanut butter.

Go to at home is chorizo, potatoes and eggs served with beans and eaten with a tortilla. Lucked out and my father in law makes his own chorizo and hooks it up every time I see him. Plus being in Tucson fresh tortillas and beans are easy to come by.

Quick and delicious plus you can just eat with your hands which is an added bonus for me and my kid!

Never liked eggs since I was a little kid. Breakfasts I enjoy feature carbs, pork, butter, sugar, and grease. But most days I eat Greek yogurt and granola.

Work days I have an Apple. Weekends Toast with peanut butter or avocado. I like eggs and all that, but usually too lazy to make. Chilaquiles would be my go to breakfast dish once a month or so.

Señor Scratchy Never liked eggs since I was a little kid. Breakfasts I enjoy feature carbs, pork, butter, sugar, and grease. But most days I eat Greek yogurt and granola.

I never liked eggs as a kid either, which was made worse by my parents refusal to accept that. I still detest hard boiled eggs or their smell. I used to avoid breakfast all together but as I get older my body can’t handle waiting for lunch to eat. I’ve have come around to things were egg is one of many ingredients. I want to move away from morning omelettes though. Not only are eggs expensive but also not really good for you. I wished I like yogurt but I don’t. Oatmeal is okay but every morning is too much.

      I love breakfast.

I've been making a lot of pancakes lately. My favorite recipe uses yogurt which gives it a buttermilk pancake kinda taste. I'm always disappointed by diner pancakes because they use too much baking soda and come out kinda bitter, so I try to use mostly baking powder at home. It's better, I swear it.

A good 7 minute soft boiled egg always hits the spot, too.

Mor I only use baking powder and always less than the recipe calls for. Also good tip on using some yogurt.

Oatmeal and coffee. Would love to go back to eating Oreo O's but enjoy the health benefits of morning fiber. When I worked in a restaraunt cooking breakfast I often made myself a breakfast burrito (potato, egg, cheese, and salsa) to help with hangover.

The price of egg punk is too damn high!

Also, oats are the only scientifically correct answer to this question. You can plus them up with all kinds of delicious and zany foods, and they're cheap as hell. Sweet or savory, the future is now!

Also, for an egg substitute, I like to soak my mung beans (yeah that's right, MUNG, but you can also do it with chickpea flour), blend them, then add black salt. People think it's gross, but they are WRONG.

        ALL HAIL MUNG!

Most days cold brew and maybe a protein shake (both with almond milk)
If going out for breakfast I want bacon and hash browns with a waffle or french toast
Sometimes make waffles at home, like maybe once every few months. Holidays or when my better half asks.

Mor I replace some of the water in the batter with lemon juice. There's a certain type of blueberry preserves we get at a local store which turns into blueberry compote when microwaved for 20 seconds. Lemon/blueberry waffles.

My kid likes fried eggs but no yolk so I get about 2.5-3.5 eggs a day.
