    Dan Severn lives in my hometown. I used to see him pretty often at the store or jogging by my house. He was behind me in line at the DMV once.

            Ben Lyon I'm from greater Tampa area so seeing wrestlers around was like seeing squirrels in the park. Greg Valentine lived a block away from my high school and next door to a family I knew.

              The last 15 minutes of the men’s Royal Rumble were pretty good. Then I had to go back and check in on AEW because I miss wrestling.

                I saw Sid Vicious(the wrestler) at the supermarket in Memphis buying beer. He was MAYBE one inch taller than me. Ipso facto, I could take on the Undertaker.

                Sid and Undertaker seem pretty legitimately tall but I have been in the same room with Road Warrior Hawk and I was definitely more than a little taller than him. It was right before he passed away so maybe he had compressed some by then but still.

                Dodge same.. i only watch WWE occasionally now, but watched the rumble and was pretty surprised at the standard, targeted more to kids i suppose. for all the annoying stuff that comes through AEW (random matches, too many squashes, random production errors, their tendency to push the wrong people), it really is sick to watch when it's runnin hot.

                the toni storm saga's been so sick... the promo she gave after the amnesia angle was so fkn funny: 'you may be the most evil woman alive, but you came from my womb and i'm gonna stick you back up there and spit you out' is an all-timer imo haha

                    Timeless Toni Storm is the best gimmick in AEW right now,l. Those amnesia segments they shot where she was asking older wrestlers to watch her match and give her notes were legitimately funny. I didn't know wrestling was capable of that.

                      Rapid Adapter hahah i loved that.. also the vignette where she was piling up from food from catering because 'you never know how long you'll be around' or whatever was gold standard wrestling writing

                                  62 Pancrase matches. Overall, probably an 85% chance the matches are real. If Minori Suzuki wins, it's probably less than 50% it's real, but otherwise it should be good. It's hard to say, because they started before UFC, and they didn't have ground & pound, but once UFC came around, Pancrase did start doing ground & pound.

                                  Seems suspicious.
