didn’t they actually do a west coast tour with Aussie X about 15 years ago or so? I seem to remember them playing the Redwood in LA as part of that tour.
not to beat a dead horse here but I would say they’re the most original “punk” band of this century. I seriously can’t think of a single band prior to them who sound even remotely similar. yeah, you can hear traces of this band or that but none of their influences are obvious. I remember Soriano saying one of their biggest influences was the first Montrose album. haha! I’m just an outsider looking in, but it seems like everyone involved from Woodhouse, Soriano, Lars and the rest of the band is some kind of genius, so it makes sense. I’m glad they continue to play. hopefully they didn’t have a falling out with Lars.
