Now, not to get too egg punk, but I assume hardware synths are fine to post here, but what about software synths? Specifically, Puremagnetik currently has a sale on 5 software instruments based on electronic strummed instruments like the old omnichord. $12 for the bundle, but be warned that only three are stand alone vsts, and the other two only work in Kontakt/Ableton/Logic.
