First, I must say the forum is off to a great start. However, the previous iteration had a suggestion thread which I propose we start up again here.
Let me start: It might be a good idea to set up some way to establish a moderator or two other than Mr. total punk himself.
Anecdotal evidence for why this is a good idea: I have met one person who ended up in therapy because of how they were treated on terminal boredom forums. Also, one might guess that particular forum was deleted because the remaining posters had poor taste in music and politics and RK could not invest time in moderating.
I am not bringing this up because of anything in the present. In fact, the intro thread is a brilliant way to keep things civil by decreasing the anonymity factor which can feed into message board think. But in conversations with other posters/potential posters off the board, it seems there is some hesitation about when it falls off the cliff.
