All you have to do is highlight what you want to quote, and a quote icon comes up. Click on it and then type your post

Got it!
Not to be a debbie downer, but does this forum matrix allow the ability to 'hide' a thread? I don't like beer.
Dark Mode PLEASE!
paperhose took you up on your suggestion and we now have another mod. My friend @filthqueen666 will be the second mod I’m not sure if she has introduced herself in the intro thread but if not I’ll leave it up to her if she wants to here or not.
Dark mode finally kicked in for me! Thank you so much, I prefer it in all honesty
Thank you for the dark mode
paperhose Anecdotal evidence for why this is a good idea: I have met one person who ended up in therapy because of how they were treated on terminal boredom forums.
Holy fuck, man!
My primary suggestion would be to focus on the strengths of this type of format, which would be it is easy to find stuff that was posted longer ago and keep adding to that. Many of us are on the Facebook Budget rock group where you can yammer about a record for a day or two and then never need to reference that discussion again. It's just mindless drivel. A forum like this should be more of a longer term record.
Where this would be the most helpful is in the Travel section where there could be long running locally specific threads about record stores, book stores, clubs, restaurants, arthouse cinemas, or whatever in any city and you can just find the Lexington, El Paso, Phoenix, or whatever thread and it is all right there.

Totally agree here, one of the things I miss most about the old message boards is being able to get travel advice from like minded folks.
