Emil M. Antonowsky Refused - i assume im preching for the choir here among you fellow jaded garage punks but all my friends who where into hardcore in the 90s seem to love them. They suck bad.
I wasn't born listening to the Mummies. Had to find my way in to punk and hardcore somewhere, and Refused really were it when I was the right age. I revisited The Shape of Punk to Come on Wednesday funny enough. It still hits really hard for me in spots, even if it hasn't altogether aged well. There was a time, though, when I was maybe 14 and it was the hardest shit I'd ever heard.
