Al Dorado that sounds like Coast to Coast AM bumper music. “to reach Art east of the Rockies dial 1-800…” The Highwaymen are cool though. country music was doing just fine up through the early-to-mid 80s until Garth Brooks came along and replaced the outlaw spirit with a giant corporate dildo.

Rhythm & Sound - The Versions/W/The Artists (Burial Mix). When Mark and Moritz from Basic Channel finally started making proper dub, as opposed to their incredible dub reggae. Two pretty interesting fellas. Obviously the vocal tracks are an easy way in but the riddims are incredible also. Also, Basic Channel is absolute godhead stuff - by far the most interesting techno Germany ever made (if you ignore boring arguments about techno being invented in Germany rather than Detroit...)
Jack Oblivian - American Slang (SFTRI). I mean it's Jack O doing Jack O stuff. There's no point where I ever get sick of this stuff.
Xray Xeroxx - Brainwashing The Populace (Richter Scale). Gee Tee meets Marked Men. Catchy and fast, think they'd be a lot of fun live but not sure if it's just a one-man bedroom project. I like it!
Mark III 0 Marvin Whoremonger (Now Again). Private press blaxploitation funk - almost has a bit of a Patrick Cowley feel in places. I'm not sure if the movie was ever released, this is kinda amateurish and fails very gloriously.

The Legendary Pink Dots – The Crushed Velvet Apocalypse - Just getting in to these guys. A friend reccomended me starting with this record. I really like it so far and it reminds me of TVPs somehow sometimes. I cant wait to diving futher in their discography which seems to be pretty vast. They're playing my hometown in february.
