Lately I’ve been listening to a lot of political rage stuff, and I ended up making something in that headspace myself.
I did a half-cover / half-rework of Lo Stato Sociale’s “Mi sono rotto il cazzo” — rewrote it in English and pushed it harder. Not a clean remake, not a polite tribute. Same spirit, but I turned the blade toward the present and toward myself. Blues punk with hip-hop elements. Hard, uncompromising, no smiles for the cameras.
The original goes after hypocrisy in your own ranks and the whole reformist theater. What hit me this time was the bigger picture: I’m completely fed up with how fascism is getting normalized again - Europe, the U.S., everywhere, same patterns, same cruelty, same dead-eyed “this is fine” vibe.
Title is “I’m F*ing Done” (explicit language).
Would genuinely appreciate thoughts on whether the delivery/mix sells the anger without turning into mush.
