sicboy Spinning some recent Neon Taste stuff (sick label) Jug - ...Or Not 7" - sloppy (ish) mid tempo punk music Closetalkers - Path To Peace 7" - cool Canadian d-beat type hardcore I dunno. I'm a simple man when it comes to punk music.
Wade T Oberlin THE PUKE from PA! Also last night I suddenly wanted to hear some Luna. Hadn’t strongly felt that feeling before.
TomDash Sukebe_GG Yeah, that Fruited Planes is special - I LOVE that Invisible Hands debut LP. They made it to the West Coast once, wish they would come East...
Ruby ever/never Alvarius B - That's How I Got To Memphis (& Other Egyptian Love Songs) // Alan Bishop does buncha covers running the gamut from Tom T. Hall to Cleaners From Venus and nails 'em all obviously, pretty straight and sincere, jerks a few tears if yr so inclined. Would love to hear this. He seems to be championing the lost art of the troubadour a lot lately (least judging by his playlists on Stegi Radio) - nice to know he's walkin the walk too. Thinking of this has me revisiting his bizarre shit talking sound collage transmission that came out on Nashazphone a few years back. GASP that was 8 years ago.
Dave Martin ExpKind Ha Ha, I went on an extened tirade when I saw the actual packaging. The real kicker is that there is still a stupid black border when you open the gatefold. as for what I have been listening to: The Sewerheads - Despair Is A Heaven Lavender Flu - Tracing The Sand By The Pool Son of Dribble - Poking A Hole In A Bag Of Tears The Saints Box The Flatlanders - All American Music X - Beyond & Back anthology Great Plains - pretty much everything Thomas Jefferson Slave Apartments - pretty much everything Retail Simp$ - Order of the Dirty Plates 7"
Uptown ruler 666 420 LACK OF INTEREST - split 7" w/ Spazz, Trapped Inside LP Maybe the most pissed band ever. All tracks anyone here holding the first two split 7" and wants to sell for non-Discogs prices, please get at me!
Randall sicboy I was just talking about this record today and how I need to check it out. Glad to see Going Underground still kicking
Mystery_Ship Just spun a duo of newish comps by 90’s greats Sentridoh - Really Insane Bardo Pond - Melt Away
Guy Lombardont paperhose Hey just a question. Were you in The Whines? I'd so love to hear this lost LP. Any chance you'd send it to me? Won't drop it online. Won't send to anyone else. You have my absolute word. But I was a huge proponent for the Whines. Grabbed insane okay and Both hell to pay and that split with burning yellows . My ex gf and I were obsessed . Also why did the band end and the record not get released? Inquiring minds would like to know But Whines are some of my favorite music. Would be honored if you'd be cool with hooking me up knowing it's literally for my ears only
paperhose Guy Lombardont I am not a member of the band, just am a big fan too. Was fortunate to befriend Jessie Gandy, alias Jimmy Dean Sausage, (instagram) when we were both living in Eugene, OR. Let me know if you cannot message him on instagram (Im sure it would be great for him to hear from you) and I can. However, last I checked he is still unable to get the digital files-although has the tapes.
Guy Lombardont should have sent this as a PM but i cant edit or delete those messages? i can on others but no option on those two
Reaccion Raul I've been listening a lot some songs from the "Star Charms" comp on Inscrutable Records. Overall it's fine but what puts it apart for me are two of the Good Flying Birds songs "Pulling Hair" and "Last Straw" are amazing.
ratcharge This ZAMDANE song on repeat today : French cloud rap that everyone here seems to know about (except I who just came across it yesterday).
