Also, if people are looking for cheap hotels, Eastside Lodge has been brought up, there's also a motel 6 and several other sort of run downish hotel/motels by the convention center which is about a mile straight up the road on Ne Grand Ave

Loads of good bars around there: Speakeasy, Roadside attraction (very cool spot to check out) Basement Pub, B-Side, Star Bar and Creepys are sort of okay. Slow Bar and MFP are a block away and really good too.
Also, check out Blackwater venue/punk bar/ record shop! Great spot for all things punk
