Such a sucker for all that Kick N Punch etc stuff. Was in Copenahgen a coupla months ago, was annoyed to not find anything in the wild I didn't have other than a Peter Bonneman 7", in a shop that had three racks of VU and Lou Reed records. Boots I've never seen. And five peelers behind the counter.

Mint Records was the place. I will be back - flights from Newcastle, UK were surprisingly cheap. I'd just missed Pleaser play by a couple of days. My superpower is that I miss an incredible gig a few days before I arrive in any city.

Only got one Sun Bather 7", was hoping to find the LP and 12" over there.

Allez Al Thats the place! The track "Zzzzz.." from one of their 7"s is my fav track. It has a nice flute solo(!).
Speaking of Pleaser, they're playing the release show of my bands EP oct 3rd.

Lammie Hated Hoax with a passion as well as all the hardcore bands that were tapping in that style around the same time and after.

Don't know man, that second EP is timeless as far as I'm concerned.

knives To each his own. When I saw Hoax in Amsterdam during their European tour, I was underwhelmed. I remember there was a lot of talk about the band's stage antics. Did the singer kick audience members in the chest during shows? Rumors maybe. There was none of that when I saw them, which was probably for the better.
At the time it seemed that people drawn to Hoax thought they were edgy in a way that did not appeal to me at all. That said, I have the 7"s and Lp. The artwork on the album is cool and I think it's great the band got a lot of artists involved for the release.

Lammie That was indeed cool, although the LP was not as good as I had expected. Still good though.
