Great stuff. The first two Government Warning 7"s deserve mention if we're going to include hardcore punk. Those were important to me at the time anyways. A Homostupids Ep should be on there as well. For some reason I'm thinking Cat Music.
That Pinocchio Ep seems unsung and was indeed great. Quite a shame they called it quits shortly after releasing the Ep. The Quango Ep is sorta the same story. Real good Ep. Never to be heard of again. There's overlap with the Hygiene people though and I think Hygiene is best on 7" too. That last one they did was really good in my opinion and when we're on the subject of bands from this side of the Atlantic, I love the latest Faux Départ 7". The Urochromes, can't understand why I'm still sitting on copies of their 12", but hey, that goes for many titles.
Didn't get what was so great about that CCTV Ep, but I sold a lot of copies of it. The Lemonade Ep, which was plugged as a band with member of CCTV and remained largely ignored.
Hated Hoax with a passion as well as all the hardcore bands that were tapping in that style around the same time and after.
Not familiar with Bundle of Fags. Will give them a hear.
