I don't know what it really means, but I think for our niche genre type music, just about every LP I own is really good from beginning to end. It's not notable for any of them to be perfect 10's to me.
Mainstream rock LP's are typically much more up and down where the hits are good and other songs are filler. I might reference a band like Pretenders, who have a lot of boring album songs. That is what makes an album like Appetite For Destruction all the more impressive. For other mainstream rock albums with exceptionally high hit rates, I would say
