Intro thread!
sicboy Cheers! Yeah, it's been in the works for a while but finally happened in September!
BARELY HUMAN So far so good! I think it might be a bit quieter than back then but there's still cool gigs and record stores in town. Emissions has taken the reigns for the punk store, but it's more a standard record store than venue / community space. Speaking of which, I don't think we met IRL but I saw BB and the Blips a couple of times when you played Not Dead Yet. That matinee in particular was great and I still play the record.
Randall Yeah, having all my records (and I guess other possessions) sitting on a ship for the best part of four months uninsured was a little nerve wracking haha. Thankfully everything made it safe and sound and it's given me a new found appreciation for everything!
Jahna / living in the lesser NYC Metro Area / still playing music & DJ-ing, but not like the old days
Used to hang on the Goner Board, a little on TB, and before that Bomp List. Loving being back lurking in the message boards and happy to be escaping here from the madness. Thanks for putting this together!
Hi y'all, I'm Erika from Portland (via Western Mass & Houston). I play bass & yell shit in the band Collate, put out records on a very small label called Domestic Departure, book shows occasionally & do radio / record reviews for MRR. In my non-punk life, I'm a librarian doing records (the boring kind) management. I'm very tired a lot of the time.
Jah-Nah-Nah Bomp List
holy mole poblano - that's a blast from the distant Internet past...

ah sweet! hope the move's gone as well as can be. and sick about crossing paths at NDY, i don't think we met yeah, but that matinee in the hall was sick, had a blast playing that show!
Hello fellow forum-goers, I’m your new moderator, Al. I’m from Portland OR by way of the Chicago burbs and west Michigan. My all-time favorites include Wire, The Fall, Pavement, Brian Eno, The Rolling Stones, and Devo.
Hi I'm Joe P and I do the label Minimum Table Stacks. I was on Termbo almost the entire run but I posted maybe 3-4 times total.
hi everyone - theklyam here. thanks rich/total punk for the forums and everything else!
joined terminal boredom forums 15 years ago, as a complete unknown to the world of budget rock and underground punk - besides the big names.
caught a lot of shit for being new to it all, posting hot takes and eccentric youtube viddies. it's been a wild journey, like meeting many of you in real life - what wonderful people you are! but i know the internet is for shittalking
i monopolized theklyam name from the other half so once he finds out about this we might need to go under our own names but i thought this would be funny for a throwback
nowadays we put on shows, fests, and other interesting events in the boston area. and play in johnnie and the foodmasters, g. gordon gritty, and nervous guys
G.GordonGritty alright! Not sure which half I’m speaking to but just this morning was thinking about how I hoped you guys would join. Happy to see you’ve joined the party!
I'm Josh and play in bands and run a label/store in Calgary, Canada called Neon Taste Records..
The most surprising band I saw last year was YDI but I'm not sure if it was because they were actually really good or if they just surpassed my expectation.
Hi I’m arielle I’m from Calgary i play in puppet wipes

I'm Ebber from Copenhagen. I play drums in No Nose and Norm Dogs (formerly The Monoliths, Junta etc...) I "run" Webmaster records that mostly releases tapes and i book shows here sometimes too...
Clif Only we’re a lot older now and are no longer on “myspace”
Joel Jett here! Played and playing in some bands. I make art. I write reviews sometimes. I buy to many records and then have to sell them all when I get broke and then buy them all back again. It's like a musical boomerang. I have a hobby record label that no one gives a shit about. Let's fucking party!!!
Hi, Jimmy from South Florida. I haven't spent much on records lately but I think the last record I bought was a Jerry Jeff Walker record. I hope to have more money one day.
Hey there, Andy from Tucson. Here to nerd out with you nerds.
Good evening. I’m Chris Shake Taylor. Uk based.
Vox/bass for The Real Losers (1999 - 2006, having one last hurrah in 2025 for the sheer fun of it.)
I do budget sleeve/poster design & illustration work.
Work the occasional days in a record shop, do bits of gardening, still enjoy listening to records. Still put on the occasional show in our local town, still enjoy seeing a band tear it up!
Out of the habit of posting on forums.
Cheerio.
