What’s the verdict on this? It seems unnecessary to me but I’ve yet to have one.

Not a fan of the cold cut chopped variety personally

I don't really understand the need for this. I only like my sandwich meat chopped if its then thrown on the grill.

    I understand a chopped salad but can’t get behind a chopped sandwich. Does a tuna salad sandwich count as a chopped sandwich? Also, we should find a New Yorker to weigh in on this.

      They're fun to make but it's definitely a novelty. They taste good, you'll like what you're having if you're following some recipe you get from a food influencer, but it's not something you'll want to come back to very often.

      I’ve never seen a chopped sandwich offered in the Midwest. Seems like a silly concept. Mince all your normal ass ingredients into a salad and then put it in a sub bun. Whatever dude.

      However, my brain is now wondering about a chopped cheeseburger sandwich…🤔🍔🤤
      Or a chopped grilled cheese and tomato soup sandwich…

      Seems like a lot of extra work unless you're throwing all the ingredients in a blender first, and that just feels gross.

          well I like a chopped cheese too but there's a difference between chopped grilled, bbqd meat and chopped cold cuts.

          I heard somebody describe a chopped sandwich as having the texture of mulch and that was all I needed to hear.

            I'd rather just have a cold cuts salad.
