Sorry to interrupt your regularly scheduled programming but does anyone here upload music you have ripped yourself? I have googled around for some info but haven't found a simple straightforward explanation of it - free or cheap software for converting, adding images, but especially copyrights. TIA.

Since there was some talk of "Shitgaze" and "Wierd punk" here recently - here's a playlist I made of stuff in the TermBore reviews section of 2013(!) Lots of deep cuts I guess - I will have to relisten to this myself (oh that first vid is pure HC)

This is a great thread. I was busy cranking out a 20 page lesson plan to get tier 2 teacher status in the state of New Mexico. I put every video on a playlist and was able to make it to tier 2 status thanks to the inspiration I got from these videos. I got a $15k raise as a result...

I teach at a dual language school to mostly immigrants from Mexico, Guatemala, and El Salvador. My students introduced me to this vid. Incredible stuff.

This show is new to me: Night Music. Lorne Michaels produced it. Had performances from Pere Ubu, Screamin Jay, Lou Reed/John Cale, a bunch of jazz dudes, etc. Very ‘80s.

DaVinci Resolve is a free and good video editing software. You drag an mp3 or wav onto it and can add pics and etc. You then export it and put it on Y’tube.

As far as converting from a record to digital, pretty sure you can do that with GarageBand or Audacity or whatever free thing people use.

What do you mean about copyrights? Pretty sure you can just upload whatever you want as long as the copyright owner doesn’t request they take it down.

As far as copyrights, I seem to remember the deal being that you can upload copyrighted music and if there is a claim put on it, they will just get whatever monies, if any, from the vid. But I want to avoid getting a "strike" for using copyrighted stuff.

This rules massively. Mr. Spencer goes on a theremin rampage with like 20 technical difficulties and they nail every minute.

Technically a #GreenScreenRocker but the TV show that’s hosting them doesn’t use the capability. (Fools!)

Nathan Loud I got tired just watching that, but I'm disappointed he passed up the opportunity to cook an omelet in that kitchen while yelling "THE BLUUUUUUUUUUUES EXPLOOOOOOOSION!" or better yet cook up some mung beans
