Maybe some day people will be able to see Fear's appearance in it's entirety
I was in tenth grade and a couple of my friends invited out for some Halloween hijinx such as blowing up jack o'lanterns, egging and t.p.ing houses - including that of our ninth-grade English teacher, who really wasn't a terrible lady. We returned to one friend's house as SNL was starting and watched it in all it's hilarious glory. I was never really a big Fear fan but hard to deny this television invasion. Also, being a little JD that night basically cursed my Halloweens for the next few years, the worst being headbutted in the nose at a party - no major injury except my pride and after that, I mostly avoided going out on Halloween...
Part of the curse? Not on Halloween but...I never saw the Misfits and when Samhain came to town, I watched them play Halloween II for soundcheck and then the show was shut down by the cops before it even started!
