Awesome. The 5/17 show isn't shown on Killowatt's site yet but I'll be there. Esp. since I can't make the Retreat this year.

Hell yeah! Can't wait to see 'em at the Corpo Retreat!

Is the Stay Gold show still happening? Not seeing that listed anywhere

The sound quality is pretty ass but this footage of The Geros backing up Screaming Mad George is wild.

THE GEROS have landed safely in the United States. It's not often Japanese bands make it to the states and I'm assuming with the way things are going at our borders its gonna become an even rarer occurrence. This band is awesome so it's a real treat to have them on the west coast. Don't miss any chance to see them and if you have more than one chance take full advantage of it.

Going Saturday in SF. Consolation prize for not being able to go the Corporate Retreat.

Caught both Bay Area GEROS shows and expectations were exceeded.
SF set was quite cool. Pete Loudmouth said it felt exactly like seeing a punk gig in SF circa '94, a very accurate take.
Oakland set was a bit more menacing and chaotic. Really dynamic punk band --- one moment is Crime-like creep, the next mic-swallow howling and crashing.
If you have the chance, don't miss 'em.

Geros crushed in SF, swell and funny buncha fellas too. I particularly enjoyed their version of "Jezebel" (though I still think the Controllers version is the best IMO, but always an interesting choice). I concur with Mitch, these guys have a somewhat subtle approach to p-rock but know when to bust out the big guns and leave everyone in ruins. Absolutely venomous.

Vinnie Vacuum they played my basement last night and crushed it. They did the Jezebel cover here too as well as a cover of Disgusting. They were amazing in the basement despite some audio issues but cannot wait to see them in a club
