I don't think there's a thread for music band images. I only saw the "random image" thread. Well, there will be NO RANDOM IMAGES HERE BUDDY, ONLY MUSIC BAND IMAGES SPECIFICALLY AND EXCLUSIVELY.
I for one enjoy images. The lines, the colors, the dance betwixt shadow and light... I enjoy seeing and apprehending things that are not truly there. Representation and depiction—great concepts!
I went to the Portland Art Museum this weekend to become cultured. Right now there's an exhibit of psychedelic posters from the '60s, west coast mostly. Many were impressive to behold in person, not as great in these pics, but oh well.
My faves are the VU and Elevators posters, but part of that is merely aura. Some of the best posters were for bands I've never cared about and will probably never care about: Quicksilver Messenger Service and Steve Miller Band. Enjoy them as I have enjoyed them.
