Ripperpotamus, a 15 year old siberian oaf who because the mascot of Bancroft Records when I relaunched it a few years ago.

Von Von, the tiny polydactyl tuxedo who showed up in our backyard (we're thinking from outerspace) about a decade ago.

There was Clementine Puff but she crossed over the rainbow bridge a couple years ago. We had her immortalized in a commissioned painting by Dan Melchior.

Just got an 18 month black rescue cat.
She just adapted to us. Likes to chase string alot

Randall 23?!? What are you feeding that cat?

I started out feed her quality kibble, but when she was about 10 I noticed that her gums seemed to growing over her teeth. I brought her to my vet and it turns out that gum lesions in animal are fairly common. The vet said lots of people just let it ride out and let the gums just absorb the teeth over time, but that it can be a long and painful process. INSANITY! Let Mabel suffer? Fuck that. So I opted to have most of her teeth removed. Sounds terrible, I know, but you should have seen her after she healed up! Just bouncing around the house, purring like never before and genuinely pumped to eat her (new and, out of necessity, soft) food. So to your question, she has been loving on grain free Wellness cans since that procedure. We split small cans into quarters and feed her whenever she asks. We wash her bowl thoroughly in between meals and clean her water bowl and fill it with fresh filtered water a few times a day. I hate going over to someone’s place and see that the pets water bowl has hair and bits of food in it and is slimy to the touch. You wouldn’t want to eat off dirty plates (har) or drink out of slimy cups so don’t make them do it.

She also takes Hyaflex (for joints and whatnot), gets a monthly shot (spacing on the name right now. I’ll pull a receipt when I get home) to help with her arthritis and a fish oil blend to help with her skin/ coat, kindney health, vision and cognitive function. That last realm is the only area where she seems to be slipping a bit. She’ll come into the room, look a little confused and then just pee wherever he happens to be standing.

Also grow her cat grass and catnip inside and outside in her garden. Give her lots of supervised outside time, buy her new toys and beds regularly and just love on her, lots of hugs and kisses and a minimum of 100 “I love you”s a day.

P.S. The girl loves a road trip too. Beach? Mountains? She’s coming with.

Tuxedo cat named Milo A friend recued him and his sister on the South Side of Columbus. They were found under the porch of an abandoned house. Mom never came back, two siblings were dead. She nursed the two remaining ones to health. Me and my partner took one and my friend in New York took the other one. He 's been terrorizing our household for 10 years now. We love him... I guess.

We had to put our girl cat to sleep 1.5 weeks ago and our older boy went today. Both under 15. Not fraternal and for different causes. A mutual posted this timely reminder today; it's still tough to process though.
