Rumor about the Surf Punks that one was the son of Captain and Tennille and the other's dad was the Captain from the Love Boat. Neither fully true but one of the Surf Punks was the brother of Captain (of "and Tennille" fame)

The Rod Stewart, Stevie Nicks, Alice Cooper ones were the other big ones

What I find fascinating about these are the way they spread word of mouth across the country (world?). Also, how did something the like chant to Billy Idol's "Mony Mony" spread the same way (though this seems to be slightly different regionally)

Slightly off topic but I only recently learned of the KISS blood comic from this vague prank call spoof from Longmont Potion Castle. I can’t decide if a blood or LSD comic would be cooler.
