Saw this one recently for the first time and can't stop coming back to it. (Most of) Gun Club backing him up. Hopefully the documentary about him actually comes out.

Al Dorado man, they were so cool
peeblood Horriblefest is already quite the spectacle, throwing this wildness on top of it?!?!? Would have loved to have seen it. I've watched a few videos on youtube now. When this record came out I listened to it a lot. It managed to be weird and arty but also absurd and hilarious. Plus the Hammer Jammer chorus lived in my head. I think a Puppet Wipes Donkey Bugs convo would make the Diceman blush

This is the best Redd Kross performance that I’ve seen on YouTube. Love everything after 45 minutes the most but it’s all fun

Future Trash Yeah I ran across that a few months ago. I worked with the girl who "Love is You" was written for (in 1989) - I swear he says "Love is Boobs" when introducing in that vid and she was somewhat breasty.
This sound quality isn't so hot on this one and The Olympic Auditorium was a shit venue but I saw them the night before this show at Fenders Ballroom, usually a shit venue because of all the violent skinheads et. al. but the lineup was:
White Flag
Redd Kross
Blue Cheer
For the longest time, I thought the show was on July 4 until the Internet informed me otherwise. Anyhow, no assholes and just a bunch of goofy folk into seeing that lineup making it a fun intimate time and of course Redd Kross destroyed it with this same set.
I ended up seeing this great gig also - Sky Saxon with the McDonald Brothers. Although I knew of the Seeds through "Pushin Too Hard" cover by The Klan, and of course Redd Kross, it was probably my gf at the time who found out about this show. She was way into '60s stuff but a bit crazy - she claimed to be the illegitimate daughter of Gene Clark (Byrds).
I think I watch this one once a month. Ends with a cover of "Search and Destroy"
Sukebe_GG thanks for sharing! I’ve been wanting to check out Purple Electricity since reading about em in the Now You’re One of Us book.
Future Trash following with the stuff I looked up after reading the redd kross book is the tater Totez destroying the minds of Beatles fans with Yoko covers.

Here's another live show that caused a bit of audience perturbance! I was actually there - by happenstance. I think it was still when they weren't announcing shows in advance but I was just visiting SF that weekend. I had found the Feederz interview in MRR #2 very interesting, and so I was glad when I found out they were playing as well as Adrenalin OD. I also happened to be staying at the MRR house because I was friends with Martin Sprouse and I recall a little bit of the reaction/debate at the house afterwards. Also, I think the woman who sings was Jello's wife who ran away with Frank Discussion - maybe this was the weekend it happened...
- I am wrong, there was a (combined dates) flyer. I saw the show on Saturday also with Short Dogs Grow and Half-Life - I remember meeting Mike Lavella and his devil-lock at the MRR house also!

My band recorded our live set from back in January. Here it is if you’d like to take a listen! Cheers
Human Highway is a great and challenging viewing experience. Honestly it made me respect Neil Young 100 times more. Such a visionary rocker. Best Canadian???
