Definitely worth the stream if you wanted to watch it! It was probably the world's worst go home show for Dynamite and Collision leading into it, so I was pretty deflated going in.. but the matches were fantastic despite the insanely long run time.
Dunno how Ospreay/Omega possibly delivered with such high expectations... it's up there with the best matches I've seen. The stream I watched it on skipped the entrances and video packages too, but tracked them down to watch them and it was so well done... Omega as this cartoon villain egging on Ospreay through the whole match was really great stuff, and I'm keen to see if he's gonna go full blown unchained end-of-career grizzled psychotic vet (hopefully), or just go back to normal now that he's been humbled... great in-match storytelling, and contextualising the whole bout around decades of their careers going back to NJPW, ROH, etc is something AEW do so well (I guess technically they're the only ones that can do it with their ability to cross-promote with the other feds).
Tag division now is unbelievable, trios division being taken seriously is great, World Title picture with all the people who are gonna start sniffing around is as good as it gets.. only AEW can fuck this up, but it seems like they've got the right voices in place to keep the ship steady and milk this roster for what it's worth.
