hello i've been helping put out these benefit comps for about a year now and here is a new one!
first 3 were no genocide/no occupation/yes liberation. they've all got a mix of styles of today's hottest bands but the first one leaned anarcho, the middle one post-punk/garage, third one more hardcore punk/crust.
now we're on a theme of seeds and the first one is pomegranate seeds. i try to get cool bands for these. so far we have raised over $20k so that is cool. the money goes to gaza soup kitchen, direct aid to families through gazafunds and esims through connecting humanity. the first 3 comps some friends and i paid for the tape pressing so all proceeds minus fees were donated but from here on in it's all proceeds after costs.
just a random observation, we have had 83 purchases so far (tapes and download) and it's the #5 punk release on bandcamp currently. that is.... not very many sales. the previous comps all got to #1 or #2 and like, i'm happy with the sales but they didn't sell THAT much. seems like no one is selling much on bandcamp!
anyway if you are into this kinda thing please share around/write a review/whatever. even if you pay a dollar for the download so it's in your collection that's great promotion. ok hopefully all the formatting in this post works!
