'Set Right Fit To Blow Clean Up' was the band's final LP. Misunderstood by the garage turkey purist at the time of its 1999 release (yours truly among them) for being too rawk, in retrospect it seems like bands crowning achievement.
After Stop Rock N Roll Keith Herrera left and was replaced on drums by Ron Skrasek (Scared of Chaka) and Scott Derr of Monoshock was added on as a second guitarist, noisemonger, and in house engineer for 'Set Right Fit.' Recorded in a barn for MAXIMUM FIDELITY!!! With the change of line up the band added a bit of heft to their sound, the tight quick shots turned to grooves, the occasional oscillator or clarinet to muck things up a bit, and we even get some drunkenly fried country twang in 'Jet Lag.' The songs pack a serious punch, the guitars are ripping, and despite my youthful protestations it still sounds like THE DRAGS!! Crazy what a little wah-wah can do to a young turkey's perception. As the band prepares for their reunion now seems like the perfect time for Set Right Fit to Blow Clean Up!!! 10% MORE BARN THAN THE ORIGINAL AND 100% TOTAL PUNK!!
