Aerosmith - Pump
I love that the production quality on Pump is why Green River broke up; the Pearl Jam guys loved it, the Mudhoney guys hated it.
And, fuck Stone Temple Pilots with every ounce of my soul, however, being in 6th grade when their Tiny Music album came out, I bought the CD 'cause it was on the radio or whatever. Even after flushing all of that bullshit out of my system, some of the guitar licks from Tiny Music have stayed in my head because they somehow align with the shit I listen to now. If you took away the mid-tempo, corporate rock element--along with Scott Weiland altogether--I think some of those songs would be great if performed by a different band.
