I present FRIENDS OF GG, a compilation of music past and present made by members of the band GG King. Over the last 17 years or so, I've recorded and mixed a lot of releases for everyone in this tight-knit group. For this release I focused on new, unheard, or unheralded tracks from our weird little scene. Features unreleased tracks from GG King, Whiphouse, Wymyns Prysyn, Hospice, Ryan Dino, Gentleman Jesse, and more. No filler or tossed-off tracks.

    connie v There's a bit that aired probably a decade ago where our local NPR station was trying to pronounce their name and explain it to listeners. If I had remembered, I could have sampled it here. Besides Atlanta's relative isolation from other scenes, I think our choice of band names as a whole further isolates us lol.
