GREBES - Show headliners making an all-too rare appearance are left-of-the-dial acid rockers Grebes (Lithics, Woolen Men, Landlines). In the past Grebes has been a 12-string joyride of garage punk, a la Leaves, Love, and The Byrds. Yet, even within their limited performing history, it's noted these guys are different every time, making this show even more special.

FRUITED PLANES - Current toast of the local sub-underground, Fruited Planes (Jackie-O Motherfucker, Monoshock, Mouth Painter, Marzipan) work in an unsteady arena of sound, mixing up signals ranging from the Kinks to Simply Saucer--no wonder they are favorites. The band's debut cassette 'Introducing the Moth Eggs' was a saving grace in 2024.

VAGUE FUGE - And having recently drained a roomful of brain pans at the Total Punk Corporate Retreat Pre-Party, Vague Fuge (Burial Teens, Mr. Wrong, Hex Enduction Hour) are hot to re-take a stage with their patented “bad vibe fuzz wah psych punk” and do it all over again.

    Dodge Grebes are fantastic. When I saw them was also thinking of the index and the bachs. Usually the portland bands with those members will be more modern sounding in a good way, but this band really did seem like they stepped out of the 60s garage.
