paperhose Clif Thanks for listening Clif. Holt will join up too. He is in Illinois recording in the basement. The likely next location all 3 of us will meet.
Ruby I'd like to dogpile on this Mordecai love...some of the highlights of last year was dancing around my living room with my kittycat listening to yr newest record (was a bit of a rough year).
tapeurchin I'm Dan. Recently moved to Cambridge UK (been here a year now), but prior to that had lived in Pittsburgh PA for the past 10+ years where I played in a garage-y two-piece band called the Spectres. Besides that I'm keen on (road) cycling, collecting records (though 2/3 of my collection is still in the States), and trying to be more of a "gym person" recently. Day job is in science / biotech. Been itching to play music and write songs again but it's been hard to pick up post-move.
jeff g I'm Jeff. From the far outer burbs of Vancouver, BC. I do the Sweet Rot label which will be starting back up again in 2025 after an (unplanned) 6 year hiatus. Thanks, Rich, for starting this up!
sicboy jeff g I do the Sweet Rot label which will be starting back up again in 2025 after an (unplanned) 6 year hiatus Excellent news!
PreparationX Randall thank you for bringing this back. Feels like the old days, meeting strangers on Goner Board who would become life long friends.
B.F. McGee-zax Howdy. I'm a 40-year-old bearded Chris. There seems to be a lot of us. I was a longtime Seattleite but just relocated to Sacramento this past fall. I did the writing half of the Estrus Records coffee table book that came out a little over a year ago.
Randall B.F. McGee-zax great work on the book. Estrus was my teenage gateway to modern punk. Good meeting you when you were in Portland
Papel_machete Hi I’m Gus, 26 from Costa Rica. I’m very active here in our small music scene and run a small label named Bien Malo Records. Loving this forum for real. I even invited my friends who also play music here to join the thread we started in Spanish posting punk from CR. If you’d like to join feel free. Me and my friend Andy who runs his own label collaborate usually on releasing bands on tape. Shameless plugs Andys Label: https://espasmonerviosorecords.bandcamp.com/ My Label: https://bienmalorecords.bandcamp.com/ I also have a youtube channel under the same name where we upload the live shows we get around to recording.
Simon Simon from Boston. First time caller, long time listener. I play in some bands (Adult Learners, Puke Pisstols, Pledge Pins) and buy too many records.
GeorgeMucus Chris, 40s, Milwaukee, SAHD/ PT hospital inventory, wrestling, good coffee, trying to keep a gym routine between everyone being sick & getting enough sleep, & hollers in florida brothers band.
Shaun A Shaun from Leeds, UK. Its great to see these goner/termbo names again having quit most soc media due to it being annoying. It's great to see how civilised you all are now! Incidentally, does anyone have the lyrics to 'Bad Man' by the Oblivians? I'd like to sing when I play guitar
