BOOT: BUTTHOLE SURFERS - AFTER THE ASTRONAUT (1998, unreleased LP)
Bootleg C100 cassette tape of the unreleased BUTTHOLE SURFERS LP 'After the Astronaut'. Held back from release due to a contractual dispute with Capitol Records, much of this would be re-recorded and turned into the unfortunate Weird Revolution LP. Audio is taken from existing online boots, with minor corrections of the upload errors.

Bootlegged C90 cassette tape of Soviet subverts 'VOVA BLUE & THE BROTHERS IN MIND', recordings all done in '80s USSR in a secret village by splicing together smuggled post-punk tapes for the loops, and singing over the top with sardonically voiced Russian lyrics. MONTYAB!

My second novel published only in Australia/New Zealand, and set over the course of 2022 ater a sharehouse is formed by a zine-maker, an ex-punk, a socialist couple, a part-time rugby league player and more. A document of 2022 contemporary working class Sydney.

DISTRO: TIM & THE BOYS - GROWING LP
Satirical drum machine driven hard post-punk that sits somewhere between BIG BLACK, BLACK RANDY and COUNTRY TEASERS to my ears; interviewed in the final ever print issue of MRR no less! Singer has since moved on to front Sydney's best hardcore band OSBO, other two known for HOUSEWIVES, BB & THE BLIPS, DEAD FARMERS and more.
