What do you listen to while you’re reading? I try to opt for mellow, melodic, indie type stuff so I can focus.

Right now it’s Lavender Flu. I’m so obsessed with this track:

Jazz or anything without vocals really. Can’t read at all if there are lyrics

I can't recall if I saw the cover or heard the music first. I got this in the past few years and it hasn't left my recent listen pile. Like Uptown ruler 666 420, I can't read with any vocals.

This whole comp that Light in the Attic released a few year ago is great for reading

this ANGEL EYES album is somethin i always return to when i can't concentrate and wanna sit down to a new sci-fi or something... listened while reading Solaris a while back and was primoooo

I find listening to music while reading distracting, but if I were to it would have to be jazz

20 days later

Ennio Morricone, surf comps/albums, Trojan Dub Comps, 60s/70s moog albums…

Non, Glenn Branca, Sunn 0))), and surprisingly (to me) a lot of black metal is good for ambient listening.

These are also pretty good:

This is the ultimate concentration music for me. Reading, designing, whatever.
