Less than a week in and already making the big move. Sadly, it doesn't look like the posts from the old forum will transfer over. Was hoping they would but the Xenforum people have been non responsive to any of my emails so it made more sense to stop the bleeding rather than continue having posts made that will not transfer over to the new board. I'm bummed about it but the options was either have a forum that doesn't work properly, constantly bans users, and that we can't update or start over. Hope everyone likes the new digs

We’re starting from scratch but you should not have to sign up again. Click login, enter the email address you used to sign up for the original forum (your total punk store account), and enter the code sent to your email address. If the pop up window disappears enter the email address a second time and you shouldn’t have this problem. Once logged in you will need to reset your nickname and avatar. Instructions on how to do that and some other forum functions below. All instructions assume you are using your phone.

EDITING PROFILE:
Click the three bars in upper left corner
Click on your name
Choose settings to change your nickname and avatar
to set your location and add more info
Click the middle top menu bar and choose edit profile

SWITCHING BETWEEN TAGS/ ALL DISCUSSIONS/ FOLLOWING VIEW
Click the center item in the top menu and choose desired view

QUOTING TEXT IN A THREAD
Press down and drag to cover all text you want to quote then click the black quote icon

EMBEDDING IMAGES AND VIDEO
Copy the web address of the video or image you wish to post and paste into the dialog box. Once you post the image or video should be embedded. If the video does not embed you can still use the link icon in the dialog menu bar to make it an active link and the image icon to make the image appear.

ADDING THE FORUMS TO YOUR PHONE HOMESCREEN (Fakin an app)

In the open browser window, containing the Total Punk forums, hit the share button
Choose add to home screen
click add

The old forum will be up here for the next week if you want to look at it or transfer anything over to the new forum

    sicboy yes it is, which I thought would keep it up top but once it’s read it seems to unpin. Going to look into when I get a chance

        nonsenseorgan Okay just went through and looked at the settings. You can edit your post for 10 minutes after posting.

          I would love to be able to add images without having post/find them online.

          Seems like I have a funny GIF for every occasion. It’s the same GIF.

          Do you need a database? I would pay $1 per month for such an important service.

              Also it would be nice if we could sort the forum’s posts from newest to oldest en viceversa. Not sure if we can already do that and i just don’t how but it would be nice

                Papel_machete main page has that option. There is a small pop down menu that allows you t arrange by latest, top, oldest, newest. In the menu bar you also have the option to view by category (tags), and you can also follow conversations

                    That comes with forum 3.0 in the meantime might I suggest

                      Okay I've had someone contact me that they are having a hard time creating an account on a desktop because when the "enter your email address" sign up window switches over to "enter the six digit code" it reverts back to "enter your email address" when you go to check your email. I signed out and had the same problem. Hopefully there is a real fix to this but in the meantime I've found this to work.

                      Have the forum open in one window and your email open in a separate window (window not tab) which is also visible
                      Enter your email address in the pop up
                      Leave this window open and in the foreground. The six digit code is in the email title so you should be able to see it without having so switch away from the forum window.

                      I've tried if a few times and it worked for me.

                      It was me, I was the problem. Randall calmly and suavely fixed the issue, taking my hand with loving tenderness and guiding me deeply into his preferred socket while I melted down into a tearful fit of exasperated angst and disillusionment.
