I bought a used VPI for a very reasonable price from a surplus electronics store here. I don't use it much because it's loud and kind of a production unless doing a stack of records. More often I just use a microfiber towel with a distilled water and Isopropyl solution if a record is dirty or a brush. Stylus brush all the time.
The VPI has a "Sony Music Ent." asset tag on the back. So that's kind of cool
