i'm sure there's plenty of us in here with this problem, but need the sanity of talkin about the phenomenon of the boxes of unsold stuff that almost definitely will never find a home..
used to run a label with the regrettable name of meatspin, and still have about 70 TIM & THE BOYS LPs and 50 BASIC HUMAN 7"s.. plus a couple t-shirts from BASIC HUMAN and THE BABY.. and like 30 copies of the ROMANCE 7" -- all these bands are broken up now haha, and i just can't foresee a way that i'll be able to move these
what're yr tips and tricks here? when I put the ROMANCE 7" out i just popped copies of the BASIC HUMAN one in the box... ran an all ages gig with a swap meet component and pretty much gave all the small tees out to kids, and swapped a few of the records with some other defunct bands which was sick..
i'm at the point with the TIM & THE BOYS LP (which is so sick btw, and definitely worth going almost bankrupt for, and definitely worth buying seventy copies if you're in the market send me a DM) where i was thinkin of just slipping a copy into every thrift store vinyl section in town but who has the time???
