Mitch C. Counter Intuits, Quintron doing "Erotomania", Winston Hightower, Astute Palate, Monoshock, Rainbow Bridge, Suburban Pagans, Icky Boyfriends, Glittering Insects...
problemface Mitch C. that’s a damn tasteful assemblage of bands. Glittering Insects LP is unsung as hell
Randall sicboy I don’t really know what larger venue I could hold it at that wouldn’t sacrifice the vibe. I’ll hold a locals event to buy tickets ahead of time just like last time. Also last one tickets were available for about a week. If someone has suggestions for a larger venue that still feels cool and intimate I’m all ears.
The Touch The Feel yes fool, wtf, you have to keep going. As long as minds are melding don't the Wooden Shjips dudes live in Portland? I'd like to see Spits. Hartle Road. Vague Fugue with a prime time spot. The Grebes. Edith's Head or an Andy Human Project. Timmy O. Useless Eaters. Dragnet. Cherry Cheeks. Destruction Unit. A Frames.
Les Ham The Rebel, Musk, Animal Piss, Spatulas, Shop Regulars, Martin Rev, TFUL 282, Gories, Paris 1941
Randall Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I've started working on a lineup and have a weekend held at Kenton Club for TOTAL PUNK CORPORATE RETREAT IV: Flogging A Dead Horse! The weekend of May 28 in Portland, OR.
problemface are Sleeping Beauties still active? I remember reading somewhere several years ago that a second LP was in the works.
JessVex problemface problemface They are! Just saw them in June here in Portland with Quintron & Miss Pussycat. Grrrreat sets! As someone else said, The Sleeping Beauties don’t play much but when they do…go.
Al Dorado Was leaving the grocery store today, saw something and almost involuntarily started singing: Fat kid on an e-bike Fat kid on an e-bike I know it's not likely to happen (because I read the SNIFFY LININGS interview) but a LiveFastDie or Camero Werewolf Band set would be a wishlist item for TPCR IV
