Al Dorado Bought a copy of Rockin' Road Trip on DVD for $11 including shipping. Probably really bad. Has Pylon and other Southeast US bands on the soundtrack though.

Al Dorado Ultra classic. One of my fondest live music memories is of the local synth punk duo Chainsaw Eaters covering the main theme at an outdoor show during a rainstorm with all the electric wiring laying around on the rain soaked ground while thunder and lightning and the few remainig members of the audience trying to hold on to a pavilion tent to cover the band. A wonder no one got electricuted by either wet cables or lightning.

I love blaxploitation! The soundtracks first, then the posters, then the movies haha.

Favourite soundtracks: Blacula by Gene Page, Black Caesar by James Brown, Coffy by Roy Ayers and Bucktown by Johnny Pate (his Shaft in Africa soundtrack rules also).

some of the movies are really dope though. especially Across 110th Street.

Yeah, Across 110th Street is great. As a rule of thumb, if Yaphet Kotto is in the movie it's good. Antonio Vargas also, raises Foxy Brown from okay to good by being sleazy as hell.

Obviously Pam Grier's the first thing you think of. An all-time smokeshow. But by about '75 she'd actually turned into a good actress. Friday Foster and Sheba, Baby are both really good performances.

BARELY HUMAN the Silverchair/Vitro song rules. have you heard the Blade 2 soundtrack? that’s the final one in the trilogy. Judgement Night was rock/hip-hop, Spawn was rock/electronica and Blade 2 hip-hop/electronica. they’re all terrible but kinda interesting too. The Mortal Kombat soundtrack is also very similar to Spawn.
