Besides these two examples, are there any other bands that have effectively covered themselves or re-tooled a previously released song? I was racking my brain but could not come up with others.

The Kinks famously made this self-referential song with the exact same bassline as their also famous big hit...

The Fall covered themselves but I guess by the time the band was a completely different lineup. Not sure if that was the case for the Kinks but I don't think so.

Then he did it at least 2 times I can think of in the Style Council (The Paris Match, Cost of Loving)
